Posted on Andrew GVerified Alen Masawe Christopher made our trip. I couldn't be happier about our experience with Raja Tours. Raj was very professional, informative, and responsive during the planning of our trip. We went with a five day safari and think it was the perfect amount of time to see each of the three parks we visited. Each of our lodges were comfortable and the meals were much better than expected. Most importantly, our guide Alen was a rockstar. With 14 years of experience, growing up locally with giraffes in his school yard, he knows his way around each park. He seems to be very well known and respected by the other guides, which was very important. He effectively communicated with other guides and always got us in the perfect spot to view the wildlife. We saw four of the big five on the second day and were able to spot three rhinos on our last day to complete the set. I would recommend Raja Tours and especially Alen for anyone looking for an unforgettable trip.Posted on Felix DVerified Safari Kenia/Tansania and 6 day Kilimanjaro We did a safari starting in Nairobi (Lake Nakura, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara) and then the 6 day Marangu Route to Kilimanjaro.Experience overall and the guides were super nice. Just the communication with the tour operator/organisator was not always clear and accurate (payment terms, etc.).Posted on Max SVerified Super great My family and I spontaneously decided to go on a safari just a month before departure, and it was during the Christmas holidays! Usually, safaris are planned a bit further in advance. In the end, everything turned out perfectly from the very beginning — pleasant communication during the trip planning stage with Rajab, and later, during the safari itself, with our drivers.Within a couple of weeks, we planned a 6-day route through Kenya and Tanzania and set off. In Kenya, we had an amazing guide, Jeff, and in Tanzania, Daniel. I can trully recommend both of them. They spotted animals before anyone else and from the best angles. It was nice to see how passionate they are about what they do.After the safari ended, Rajab helped organize a transfer from Arusha to Mombasa, and everything there went smoothly as well.A huge thank you for the trip! Highly recommended.I found communication with Raja Tours significantly more pleasant and easygoing than with more promoted and popular competitors who tend to overdo the pleasantries. Personally, I prefer normal communication and Rajab do it well.Posted on ASI RVerified Unforgettable trip I highly recommend to plan your trip with Rajabu. He will plan your trip as per your needs and comfort .The hotels/tents booked by him were also very good .I would also recommend our tour guide Mr Khalifa who made our trip really memorable,he has the talent to keep you satisfied he knows where and how to go on game drive ,knowledge about animals and bird behaviour of Mr.Khalifa is also amazing .Combination of Rajabu's plan with Khalifa's execution made out safari of 2 weeks unforgettable.Posted on nadiapetraVerified 10 unforgettable days My husband and I relied on Rajatour to organize a 10-day safari in the southern parks of Tanzania. We visited the parks: Nyerere, Rhuha and Mikumi who gave us unforgettable memories. We took the safari boat on the Rufiji River and visited the Stone Age Site in Isimila (including the museum), a local school and a mission. In most of our trip we did not meet other tourists and we had the feeling of living a more authentic Africa. Our driver and guide Kassim has always complied with our requests by making us live unique experiences: she was one of the best guides I have ever met despite having made many trips (she speaks excellent English, is polite, never intrusive and really cautious in driving... not indifferent). Considering the total cost the facilities were absolutely dignified by our standards (which is absolutely personal... but even in this case you can agree different structures according to your needs). Mr. Rajabu throughout the tour made sure that everything was going well by solving the small problems that arose (replacing a facility on the fly for a problem, or giving us an alternative for closing a museum). We can't do anything but give full marksPosted on Lotte RVerified Wonderful and well-organised holiday We had a wonderful safari which was so well organised. Contact was very smooth and Rajatours was very responsive to our questions and requests (for example about our food allergies). Sabas, our guide and driver was very knowledgeable and really did his utmost to make this a memorable trip. He was kind, patient and always happy to share stories about everything that we saw along the way. We definitely recommend RajaTours and Sabas! We also booked a 3-day Meru trip and had a wonderful experience! Jackson took his role as guide very seriously and made sure we were well prepared before the trip and well brieved prior to every hike. We recommend to ask what you will need beforehand so you can come prepared, or otherwise you can rent equipment too. Jackson and his team were always cheerful and looking after us so well. Albine, our cook, made us super delicious meals that were plentiful and took into account our allergies (thanks!!!). Thanks team!!Posted on HannaVerified Perfect safari experience This was our first time in Africa. And I am happy we did safari with RajaTours! For Kenya part we had experienced guide Chris who showed us Masai Mara. And our Tanzania guide Allen was just amazing! He showed us lions so close we couldn’t even expect! We saw leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, rhino. All the big 5! And so many animals and birds I am even not capable to enlist here. Also Allen took care of us after safari and helped with hotel and bus arrangements. We are absolutely happy and definitely will be back next year!Posted on Lee HVerified Everything taken care of We did the 6 night / 7 day tour of Kenya and Tanzania. Everything was taken care of by Rajab and the guides who went the extra mile in making sure we were happy (we had the brilliant Chris in Kenya and Amani in Tanzania). We saw everything we wanted to see, and it was a sensational experience. As vegan travellers we were well fed everywhere, though there was better understanding of requirements on the Kenyan side.Just double check your accommodation before you go - a couple of places were different to what we expected, though we were happy with everywhere we stayed - staff in all accommodations are very welcoming. Don’t hesitate to book with Raja Tours - the value for money is outstanding.
