Tour Itinerary

Every day of your trip has been thoughtfully designed to ensure an unforgettable experience. From discovering iconic landmarks to savoring authentic local dishes, each moment is filled with excitement and discovery. Come along as we guide you through some of the world’s most captivating destinations.
Day 1-2: Experience the Kalahari

After arriving at Maun Airport in Botswana, you’ll transfer to a shared charter flight to the Kalahari. Set on the edge of the vast and forbidding Makgadikgadi Pans, Leroo La Tau is a remote lodge overlooking the Boteti River, a vital lifeline for the area’s wildlife. Guests enjoy game drives and interpretive walks with expert guides and trackers. Between November and May, herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra arrive, attracting predators in large numbers. Not for nothing does the lodge name mean “Footprint of the Lion”. Spot-lit night drives and bird-watching complete the picture overnight stay at Leroo La Tau Lodge

Day 3-4: An Exclusive Okavango Retreat

Today, you’ll fly out by a shared charter to the northern Okavango Delta and Xugana Island Lodge. Set under giant trees on a private island, Xugana is a true water camp. Guests explore this beautiful corner of the delta by boat, canoe and on foot. Begin the day with a mokoro (canoe) excursion, as your expert guide points out birds and frogs as you drift along crystal-clear rivers. Island-hopping walking safaris reveal the delta’s astonishing wealth of wildlife, and you’ll enjoy star-lit suppers and a convivial fireside ambience back at camp.

Day 5-6: Savute is the Wild Heart of Chobe NP

Savute is the wild heart of the Chobe National Park, an area of grassland and water in an ocean of dry woodland. You’ll fly in from Xugana Island Lodge and settle in at Savute Safari Lodge. The lovely chalets overlook the famous Savute Channel, a popular water source for Savute’s thirsty elephants. Savute is one of Botswana’s best destinations for predators and the conflict between lions and hyenas is well documented. Leopards prowl Savute’s rocky hills while cheetahs and wild dogs chase down impala on the grasslands. Enjoy game drives with expert guides and star-studded nights with the call of the wild around you.

Day 7-8: The Chobe River - The Prime Location

A short flight north takes you to Kasane Airport on the Chobe River. You’ll enjoy a drive into the Chobe National Park before checking in at Chobe Game Lodge. Guests at this majestic, Moor-inspired lodge can take advantage of its prime location right on the banks of the river. Game drives and boat safaris are offered along with sunset river cruises and specialist birding expeditions. The Chobe River has abundant resident game, but is at its peak in the late dry season when thousands of elephants gather to drink. Buffalo herds, lion prides and a wealth of river life add to the mix.

Day 9: Hideaway at Victoria Falls

Drive overland to Zimbabwe & Victoria Falls where you check in at centrally-located Ilala Lodge for 1 night on a B&B basis. An early start after breakfast gets you across the border and into Zimbabwe in time for lunch at Victoria Falls. Your destination is the ever-popular Ilala Lodge, a friendly and long-serving hotel located at the heart of the town of Victoria Falls. This puts you within walking distance of the world wonder as well as within strolling distance of markets, restaurants and shops. With a full day on hand, you have time to arrange a Victoria Falls activity or two. Besides a tour of the falls themselves, other top activities include bungee jumping, scenic flights, elephant-back safaris, and white-water rafting.

Day 10: The Journey Ends

After breakfast at Ilala Lodge, you have some time for maybe a last-minute souvenir purchase from a local market. Transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport for your onward connection and the end of this safari.
