The reserve also has an exceptionally high variety of habitats including Miombo woodlands, enjoy game drives and boat safari at the park while overnight stay in mid range lodge or camps.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Selous game reserve

Pickup at your hotel in Dar es salaam drive to Selous game reserve 5 hours drive, enjoy landscapes and features of the country while you are driving, arrive at camp for hot lunch then enjoy boat drive where you will be able to see crocodiles and hippos, dinner and overnight at African safari camp.

Day 2: Game drive in Selous game reserve

After breakfast from the lodge with packed lunch, enjoy game drive inside the park expect to see large number of animals like lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, hyena and etc. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. During afternoon you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeds with the game drive and overnight at African safari camp.

Day 3: Game drive in Selous

After breakfast from the camp/lodge with packed lunch, enjoy last day game drive inside Selous game reserve with the great chance to see animals which you didn’t see in previous day, take your lunch during afternoon then proceed with game drive dinner and overnight at African safari camp.

Day 4: Selous to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast from the camp with your packed lunches enjoy en route game drive then drive to Dar es Salaam 5 hours drive, arrive in late afternoon.
