Spend 5 days in Kenya (Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara) and 8 days in Tanzania (Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro, Manyara and Zanzibar). This tour transfers from Masai Mara to Serengeti through the Isebania border. If you’d like, at the end of the tour, instead of finishing in Arusha, you can transfer to Amboseli for 1 or 2 nights in this national park and finish the tour back in Nairobi. This tour can also be done in the opposite order (starting in Arusha).
Tour start in Nairobi and ends Zanzibar
You’ll have an early morning pick up then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley’s most famous Lake Nakuru. It’s known all over the world for its flamingoes. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. But the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore.

Today you will be pick up from Lake Nakuru and drive to famous Masai Mara game reserve via rift valley and later proceed to Masai Mara for afternoon game drive arrive at the lodge while dinner and overnight at Base camp Mara

Breakfast then proceed with your game drive in Masai Mara. Masai Mara is situated in the southwest of Kenya, covering an area of 1 510 square km (583 square miles), the Masai Mara National Reserve is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife and endless plains.
The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions, as the reserve is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game, including the more than two million wildebeest, zebras and other antelopes that make up the famous Great Migration. The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest endless migration in search for fresh pastures. Each year they trek over 2,500km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is at Serengeti.

The Serengeti National Park is the world’s last great wildlife refuge as it contains an estimated three million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature’s wonders.

Half day game drives in Serengeti and then later you will drive to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
There are several documented resident lion prides just within a one-hour game drive radius from Seronera. During the dry season, the resident prides begin to shift west and north in their territories and concentrate in the central region of the park.

Very early in the morning, you’ll descend down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on earth. After a stop for a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake, and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, drive up the steep road out of the crater. You’ll then transfer to Manyara for your overnight stay at Lake Manyara Africa safari camp for dinner and overnight

You’ll depart after breakfast and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. This enchanting park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant figs and mahogany trees, which are home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. It is very famous for its stunning bird variety. The park is also home to a large numbers of buffalos, giraffes, elephants, impalas and a Hippo lake, where large numbers of hippos usually gather. This park has become famous for the tree-climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore. The game drives are done along the shore of the lake, providing incredible views of animals in the foreground with the lake, flamingos and flat plains on the horizon. In the afternoon, you will have a flight to Zanzibar at around 4 pm for three days of relaxation at Nungwi by Mantis

Today you will be picked up and transferred to Nungwi in northern Zanzibar for beach holiday.

For Kenya part we had experienced guide Chris who showed us Masai Mara. And our Tanzania guide Allen was just amazing! He showed us lions so close we couldn’t even expect!
