Arriving at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, you will be met and transferred by road to Dar es Salaam Domestic Terminal for your 16:30 light aircraft flight to Siwandu. Landing at 17:35, you will spend 4 nights at the beautiful Siwandu Camp, which is located inside the game-rich Selous Game Reserve. Sheltered underneath palm trees on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, Siwandu is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and is home to diversity of plants and animals. It’s perfect for game viewing and you will experience Africa’s wild animals on spectacular 4×4 game drives. Siwandu Camp offers a range of activities: thrilling 4×4 drives, game walks, boat cruises, private dinners overlooking the river or sundowners by the pool.
The second part of your trip is set in Ruaha National Park – the largest park in Tanzania. You will be staying at Jongomero Camp, situated under trees, on the banks of a seasonal river in the southern part of Ruaha National Park. It’s beautifully isolated! Ruaha is the largest national park in Tanzania. Ruaha is also home to one of the greatest populations of elephant and buffalo but also predators and everything in between. Enjoy the luxury at Jongomero Camp from game drives to game walks, lunches in a dry riverbed, romantic dinners under the stars to sundowners by the pool! Tanzania is all about romance.
At a time to be confirmed by lodge management, you will be transferred to your light aircraft flight departing at 11h45 am for the Dar es Salaam Domestic Terminal. You will land at 13h50 pm and will transfer by road to Julius Nyerere International Airport (in Dar es Salaam) for your flight back home.
