Enjoy 8 days safari in southern circuit in Selous, Mikumi, hiking and waterfall Udzungwa and Beach kilwa while overnight stay in clean and comfortable tented camps and cottages. The tour start in Dar es Salaam to Mikumi and end in Dar es Salaam after kilwa beach. Enjoy Indian your privacy at Kilwa beach learn more about historical and culture.                              

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi

Pickup at your hotel in Dar es salaam drive to Mikumi national park (6 hours), having hot lunch in Morogoro town, take 30 mins drive to the park, arrive for afternoon and evening game drive, you will be able to see herds of elephants, zebra, impala, giraffes while dinner overnight at Bastian camp.

Day 2: Mikumi game drive

After breakfast with picnic lunch from the camp depart for the game drive inside Mikumi park. Enjoy game drive inside the park. When you are in Mikumi you will be able to see wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants and overnight at Mikumi Bastian camp.

Day 3: Udzungwa mountains hiking and waterfall

After breakfast with picnic lunch drive to Udzungwa for the hiking and waterfall activities. Upon arrival met with your Mountain guide and start hike. Enjoy hiking and bird watching in the pristine rain forest. Later you will trek towards the Sanje waterfalls for spectacular views of the wide Kilombero Valley. Later drive back to Mikumi for dinner and overnight at Bastian camp.

Day 4: Mikumi to Selous

After breakfast with picnic lunch depart to Selous game reserve. Arrive for afternoon and evening game drive in Selous with the great chance to see African hunting dogs, zebra, lions and many more. Enjoy game drive inside the park. Later drive to the camp for dinner and overnight at Selous Kulinda camp

Day 5: Selous game drive

After breakfast with picnic lunch drive for morning and afternoon game drive inside Selous game reserve. Today you will drive in different areas of the park to find more animals. Take your lunch in afternoon and proceed with the game drive. Later leave the park and drive for boat drive at Rufiji river with chance to spot hippos and crocodiles along the river while dinner and overnight at Kulinda camp

Day 6: Selous to Kilwa

After breakfast with picnic lunch from the camp in Selous drive to Kilwa for the beach relaxation. After arrival after lunch at Kilwa beach lodge. The good lodge located along Indian ocean beach. Enjoy your afternoon and evening stay at your lodge base on full board basis

Day 7: Songa Mnara tour

After breakfast with picnic lunch drive to Kilwa Kisiwani. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its influence on the birth of Swahili culture, what is now a fishing village was, a thousand years ago, occupied by Arabs. They minted gold and sold spices, jewellery and slaves, whilst holding licentious parties under the light of the moon and made the island state of Kilwa Kisiwani. Songo Mnara, a neighboring small island close to Kisiwani was a Swahili stone town which was inaugurated in the early 19th century. Its comparatively short history compared to its more illustrious neighbor of Kilwa Kisiwani has allowed archaeologists to examine early Swahili houses within a specific time period. During evening drive back to Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Kilwa to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast with picnic lunch leave Kilwa and depart to Dar es Salaam city. You will arrive late afternoon and drop off at your hotel or airport.
