Enjoy 6 days safari in Northern Tanzania. Safari will cover Kilimanjaro airport, Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Enjoy landscapes, bird watching, cultural experience, wildlife, crater game, and flamingos’ sightings while overnight stay in budget accommodation.         

Day 1:  Airport/Arusha to Tarangire national park

Morning pickup from your hotel and a short briefing in the morning, you will head off in direction of the Tarangire National Park at 8am with picnic lunch for 3 hours. The park with its savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps and lagoons is home to huge elephant herds. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River and you should see a selection of mammals ranging from giraffes, bushbucks and hartebeests to the weird-looking gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. Take your lunch in afternoon and proceed with game drive. In the late afternoon you will arrive at Karatu for dinner and overnight at Heaven nature campsite/ Twiga campsite

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti.

After breakfast you will leave Karatu with picnic lunch at 8am and drive through the cooler highland region towards the Serengeti National park for 6 hours. The world-renowned Serengeti National Park, with its diverse landscape ranging from grass plains and dry savannah to marshy woodlands, is the stamping ground of many carnivorous predators and their prey. The park is home to the largest animal migration in the world and depending on the season you will be able to witness this spectacular event unfold. The herds of wildebeest and zebras journey in the short rainy season of November and December from the hills in the north to the southern plains before returning to the north during the longer rainy season of April to June. The location of the migrating herds is dependent on the yearly rainfall, but your guide will know where the best vantage points for wildlife viewing are. Enjoy nice view of Manyara escarpment, Ngorongoro highlands, wildlife and many more. Arrive for afternoon and evening game drive with great chance to see wildebeests, lions, hyenas, leopards and many more. The night will be spent on a tented camp for dinner and overnight at in the central Serengeti. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included at Serengeti Nyani campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti game drive

After breakfast from the camp enjoy full day game drive in Serengeti. Descend into the heart of wild Africa the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see, drive kopjes where lion, cheetahs, leopards like to rest, enjoy game drive inside the park expect to see predators actions, elephants, leopards, impala, zebra difference birds species, return to the camp for hot during afternoon then proceed with game drive, during evening drive out the park for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Nyani campsite.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

 

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. After the game drive, were turn to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The crater has a river several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. You will reach Ngorongoro in time for a sundowner for overnight and dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro samba campsite

Day 5: Ngorongoro crater game drive

We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Karatu for dinner and overnight at Heaven nature campsite

Day 6: Lake Manyara to the hotel/Airport

Pickup from the camp with picnic lunch at 8am and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley for the half day game drive. Although small in dimension (205 sq. miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as to a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge number of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that cannot be described with words, and the game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background. Take your lunch in afternoon and have short game drive before drive to Arusha or airport for the drop off
