This 5-day safari can start from Entebbe, Kampala, or Kigali, and during this time you will have an extraordinary experience as you will visit some of Uganda’s best National parks, such as Bwindi Impenetrable where you will track mountain gorillas, Queen Elizabeth National park for game viewing, and a boat ride on the Kazinga channel. Bwindi is home to the biggest number of mountain gorillas in the entire world.

Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable
Pick up from Entebbe or your hotel in Kampala by our driver-guide. He will brief you, and after we will drive southwest to the Bwindi forest. Have two stopovers, one at the Equator to buy crafts and take photos, and another in Mbarara for lunch. Proceed with your journey to this magnificent forest, home to mountain gorillas and other primate species, until you return to your accommodation in the evening. Have dinner and overnight at Ichombi Lodge.

After the tasty breakfast, ensure you carry packed lunch from the lodge as you drive straight to the headquarters. Here you will meet fellow trekkers and be briefed concerning gorilla trekking. Later you will begin trekking as led by the park ranger guides who are well informed and knowledgeable about these gorillas, how long trekking will take depends on the movement of mountain gorillas at that time therefore it could last for 2 to 8 hours. You are encouraged to carry enough water, sunglasses, raincoats, hats, and to wear sturdy shoes. You will be allowed to be with the gorillas for only one hour. Return to your lodge and relax. During the evening hours, you can decide to stay at the lodge and rest or visit the Batwa community of which you will discover a lot about their culture and customs. Come back for dinner and have an overnight at Ichombi Lodge

Have a hefty breakfast, depart from the Murchison Falls NP to Queen Elizabeth NP as you drive Southwest through Fort-portal and the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Have lunch on the way at Mountains of the Moon Hotel found in Fort Portal town. From here continue to Mweya peninsula found in the Queen Elizabeth national park. You will arrive in the Park in the evening, have dinner and overnight at bush lodge

After an early breakfast, have a morning game drive to see the nocturnal predators as well as the early morning risers like lions, buffaloes, antelope species, leopards, waterbucks, elephants, hippos and warthogs. For birders, Queen Elizabeth is a paradise for birders hosting a diversity of migratory and also Albertine Rift Endemics. Dine and overnight Bush lodge.

After breakfast head to Kyambura gorge chimpanzee tracking a fascinating experience, The trek takes 2-3 hours and it will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and a variety of butterflies, and other insects. Later transfer back to Entebbe airport for your flight or Kampala at the hotel in the evening.
