Ruaha National Park is situated in the southern region of Tanzania. It is the largest park in East Africa and has everything that the other well-known parks offer. The bonus is it is without the large stream of tourists and a heavy infrastructure.
The tour start and end in Dar es Salaam
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport for the flight to Ruaha National Park. You will take part in a meet and greet with our driver/guide who will then drive you to the camp where you will check-in just in time for lunch. After lunch you will enjoy some leisure time and then in the evening take off for an exciting game drive in the magnificent Ruaha National Park. Enjoy the sunset with a cool refreshment and then drive back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay at Ikuka safari camp

After an early breakfast, with lunch boxes in hand, you will take off for the full day game drive in the park. Ruaha is a very unique national park that provides amazing scenery which changes rapidly. You will see all types of wildlife, including antelope, buffalo, elephant, lion, hunting dog, leopard and so many others. You will enjoy your boxed lunch in the park and then proceed with a game drive until you drive back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay at Ikuka safari camp

You will rise very early in the morning to take part in an amazing walking safari which will take 3 hours with an armed Ranger/guide. After your walking safari you will head back to the lodge for brunch and some leisure time. Later in the afternoon you will have a light lunch then take off for the evening game drive. Later in the evening you will head back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Ikuka safari camp
With optional of hot air balloon ( $550 per person )

You will rise in the early morning and take off for a sunrise game drive; returning for a hot breakfast at the camp before collecting all your belongings and checking-out. With lunch boxes in hand you will drive to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar Es Salaam. This is where your safari will end.
